Even though “Bit Gold” actually shares a lot of things in common with the project of Bitcoin, it never was fully described to the public until the year 2005. Even at that time, the project of Bit Gold was not wholly implemented.

Craig Wright
The person named Craig Wright is a computer scientist. He is also known as the only person who has publicly claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto. Back in the year of 2015, in December, Gizmodo and Wired published stories showcasing Wright to be the inventor of Bitcoin.
He also later on filed for a copyright on the white paper of Bitcoin and also regarding its early code. He was duly awarded both in the year 2019’s month of April. - Lastly, his being the creator just means that he is certainly a billionaire. Even though none of the Bitcoins from wallets (which are presumed to be his) has ever been moved/ removed.

Nobody for sure knows the total net worth of Satoshi Nakamoto, but this is also solely due to the private and closed nature of Bitcoin. This leads to the inability on the part of the investigators – in estimating how much Bitcoin Nakamoto owns. It is still assumed though that Nakamoto owns about one million Bitcoins in total. A comparison with today’s prices puts that amount up to twenty billion worth in Bitcoin.

Is Elon Musk The Real Satoshi?
A few people have made speculations that Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk might be actually behind the creation of Bitcoins. That he might be the real Satoshi Nakamoto, but that is not the case. There had been an employee of his who made these claims – but Elon Musk has denied these claims.
